Born in Mosul, Iraq
As a very dedicated person to her culture, community, language & country. Through her singing and soft voice she passes the message of love, peace, hope and the strength to hold tied to your roots.
Started her music journey since early childhood, the fact that she came from a family of musician father who wrote and composed many musicals, helped her to fall in love with music and she participated in many events and concerts throughout Iraq as well as many musical shows in the Radio and TV stations.
At the age of 15, she moved and reside in the US and started after few years of adopting to the country singing in many concerts in the Chaldean and Assyrian language as well as Arabic.
In 1994 she release her first album ( YONA ) includes 7 songs. And in 2004 she released her second album
( Ya Babi ) with singer Salem Alsanati in Chaldean language included 8 songs, and the last album is
( Min Matha Lmatha ) made of 8 songs was release in 2005 following that a video clip for one on the song (Mani). An overwhelming respond has been received for her significant way of recording and meaningful acting with a story.
Along with the singing, Sahar also enjoyed acting. She participated in many shows like (Gishred Dalale) in michigan 1984 in Chaldean, (Rock & Hacha) in Arabic 1992, (Ma yeseback Illa Nasebak) in Chaldean 2003. and many others.
As an artist, she has the loving heart and ability to work with most musician, actors, poets and other artists. Many of the artists she worked with had become her friends throughout life. And she also considers herself blessed with lots of love surrounding her from her family and friends.
She hopes for a good future in Chaldean Assyrian music world and admires all singers who work hard on their music journey.
